Note that the external hard drives need professional assembling
Especially, the following must be done before you can start using the Drive.
1) Set the HDD jumper to 'MASTER'
2) PC should have the latest Service pack. Ex WIN XP should have SP2
3) Initialtze the Drive the first time and FORMAT it by going in to 'Disk management'
